From Outrage to Action: A Practical Guide to Fighting Antisemitism
I hope you'll support my Kickstarter campaign to make this book a reality. Also, my interview with "The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem."
My book, "From Outrage to Action: A Practical Guide to Fighting Antisemitism," will be a reality with your support. My Kickstarter prelaunch page is live, and the campaign will begin next month. Now is the time for action. Check it out.
After going through all the stages of grief since Oct 7, I thought about what I could do to help. The only thing I know how to do reasonably well is write. So that is what I am doing. Hopefully, with the help of the Jewish community and our allies, this book will be published.
I'll reveal more about my plans for the book, and how you can help, in the coming weeks. And please spread the word in your own communities and networks.
The book will serve as a hands-on guide, offering actionable advice for addressing and preventing antisemitism in various areas of everyday life, including ...
The Workplace: Where respect and understanding can thrive.
Online Spaces: Where our voices can be heard safely.
Educational Institutions: Where truth and history educate the next generation.
Public Spaces and Communities: Where solidarity is more than a word.
Political Arenas: Where policies reflect our values.
Sports: Where fair play extends beyond the game.
And many more.
The book will feature real-life examples of individuals and groups who have made significant strides in combating antisemitism. Their stories will not only inspire but also guide readers on how they can contribute to these efforts in their own lives.
Your support for this Kickstarter campaign is more than just backing a bookâit's an investment in a resource that aims to equip people with the knowledge and skills to make a tangible difference. The funds raised will go towards the research, writing, production, and distribution of this essential guide.
Join me in turning concern into action, and help make this vital resource a reality.
My Interview with Israeli Actress Swell Ariel Or
And in other news, I interviewed Israeli actress Swell Ariel Or, star of "The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem," on how she's using her platform to educate about Israel and antisemitism, and raise funds for returning IDF soldiers. Sheâs an amazing young woman who paused her dreams of making it big in Hollywood to do what is needed for her people. You can read my feature in the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles.
Howard, Iâm an avid Twitter follower of yours and will be sending money to the Kickstarter campaign when it opens next month. Your book will be a helpful resource for Jews across the world - I unfortunately doubt that it will ever stop being useful. Thank you yet again.
Wonderful interview with Swell. Sheâs wonderfully wise and mature and I wish her well and hope that her acting talents will be put to good use.
